Description
As the Jr. Systems Administrator, you will be tasked with maintaining the flow of day-to-day IT operations within the office. An ideal candidate would be a former Apple Genius with at least 2 years of experience as we are a 98% Apple shop. Candidate should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be highly organized with the ability to focus and prioritize.
Responsibilities
  • Perform help desk tasks and assist employees with any IT related issues
  • Create new, remove, and perform maintenance on all user accounts
  • Provision and prepare new employee equipment
  • Learn internal DailyLook systems and support systems in Technology Manager's absence

  • The following skills are required:

  • Setup, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of client Macintosh hardware and OS.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Software (Photoshop, Indesign, etc). You don't have to have design experience, just be able to troubleshoot application issues.
  • Familiarity with business technology peripherals such as copiers, printers, scanners, projectors, iPhone, etc.
  • Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP networking: DNS, DHCP, subnets, IP addressing.
  • Understanding of network hardware components: Routers, switches, WAPs, etc.
  • Familiarity with email servers: IMAP, SMTP, ActiveSync/Exchange
  • EXTRA POINTS:

  • Apple certification is highly preferred, but is not required.
  • Windows & Apple Server experience is a HUGE plus.
